The BCCI Ph.D. Program is designed to train the next generation of leaders in convergent biomedical research on aging and multimorbidity.
Our doctoral program integrates biology, medicine, engineering, AI,and quantum technologies to
provide students with a comprehensive
and multidisciplinary research education.
Students may specialize in one of the following core areas while engaging in cross-disciplinary projects:
Immunology, neuroscience, metabolism, and cancer aging research
AI-based drug design, multi-omics integration,
and quantum bio-simulation
Nano-bio diagnostics, drug delivery systems,
and neural
interfaces
Students may specialize in one of the following core areas while engaging in cross-disciplinary projects:
Dual-mentoring system combining academic supervision and project-based coaching
Access to advanced facilities
for single-cell multi-omics, AI platforms, and quantum
computing
Participation in industry-linked research projects and clinical collaborations with Severance Hospital

Integrated coursework in life sciences, data science, and bioengineering

Micro-degree certification in specialized research areas

Opportunities for international joint degree programs
and short-term overseas research
placements
