As the specialized translational research engine of the Bio-Centennial Convergence Institute (BCCI), the Yonsei-Drug Discovery Center (Y-DDC) is dedicated to bridging the gap between fundamental biological discoveries and next-generation clinical therapeutics. Our center integrates a comprehensive, state-of-the-art drug discovery pipeline—encompassing target identification & validation, molecular design, structural biology, and advanced computational modeling—specifically optimized to address the complex challenges of aging-associated immune and inflammatory disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders.
Within the BCCI’s integrated research ecosystem, we harmonize high-dimensional omics data, longitudinal clinical cohorts, high-resolution Cryo-EM structural analysis, and proprietary AI-driven predictive modeling. By transcending conventional single-target paradigms, this multidimensional approach enables a system-level strategy for therapeutic design, ultimately advancing the next generation of predictive, preventive, and precision-based medicine.
